As a Junior Software Developer at Pricecheck, you'll be at the forefront of technological innovation, working alongside our development team to create and improve software systems that meet the evolving needs of the business. You'll contribute to designing and maintaining software solutions that drive operational efficiency and improve processes across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
Work on the design and development of new software solutions using a range of languages in order to meet the requirements of key stakeholders.
Ensure development standards are established, known and followed within the agile team
Build user-friendly interfaces with JavaScript/ React.
Actively participate in requirement analysis, highlighting omissions and gaps; pro-actively contributing ideas, understanding the scope, risk and complexity of changes by challenging and providing feedback
Champion a quality focused approach including good planning; strategy; participating in early discovery of defects; code reviews; unit testing where appropriate; and collaboration with key stakeholders.
Continuously deliver value to Pricecheck by using technology to solve business problems with creativity and innovation.
Develop existing programs by analysing and identifying areas for modification.
Integrate existing software products and get incompatible platforms to work together.
Liaising across departments, collaborating on projects, and maintaining strong working relationships to best enhance service delivery.
Continuously update technical knowledge and skills by partaking in incremental learning exercises
Ad-hoc duties as required to meet business need.
Requirements
Has achieved or working towards degree level qualification/ or holds relevant industry experience.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to confidently engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines while handling multiple tasks.
Proactive learner, willing to embrace new technologies and continuously improve skills.
