On our Communications & Events and Responsible Business pathway, you will have the opportunity to contribute to two very different functions in Belron. In Communications & Events you will help us deliver world class communications and events that bring to life our story, purpose and values so that our colleagues understand what we stand for, our plans & performance and feel proud of being part of our family. You will also protect and enhance Belron’s reputation with external audiences. In Responsible Business you will contribute to improving Belron’s sustainability performance, particularly focusing on reducing our greenhouse gas emissions and waste, as well as the team’s role in leading on all ESG reporting for the Belron Group.
What will I be doing?
On the Communications & Events and Responsible Business pathway, you’ll rotate through three different areas over the 2-year programme. You'll help us ensure that our employees feel valued and empowered, equipped with the resources to perform at their best.
On the People pathway, you’ll rotate through three teams over the 2-year programme. You'll be responsible for ensuring that our employees feel valued and empowered, equipped with the resources to perform at their best, implementing development strategies, reporting on diversity data, and developing our benefits package to ensure competitiveness. You’ll also play a part in producing and sharing internal communications and facilitating exciting and motivating events.
Some teams you could be working with on the Communication, Events and Responsible Business pathway include:
- Internal communications – we craft impactful communications and coordinate events which inspire pride and dedication to Belron’s values, supporting major initiatives like our senior leadership meetings, annual fundraising campaign the Spirit of Belron Challenge, our global competition to find our best technician, the Best of Belron, and significant DE&I events.
- External communications – we protect and enhance Belron’s reputation with important external audiences, including investors, business partners and key accounts, and support our businesses around the world in managing reputational risks. This includes handling financial communications in close collaboration with our shareholders and managing our digital channels.
- Responsible Business – our business units around the world are responsible for reducing the waste they generate and implementing different programmes to drive down their greenhouse gas emissions. We support them with expert guidance, share best practices and inspire them with new ideas. We also lead and deliver all the Belron ESG reporting, including the new EU CSRD disclosures. A significant project has been underway for the last 18 months to meet the CSRD requirements and we are currently implementing new software solutions to enable us to report efficiently and to meet the required assurance standards.

- Reward – We develop and manages compensation and benefits strategies to ensure they are competitive, equitable, and motivate and retain talent.
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion – We develop strategies to promote diversity, ensure equity, and foster an inclusive culture where every employee feels valued.
- Communications – We craft impactful communications and coordinate events which inspire pride and dedication to Belron’s values, supporting major initiatives like the Spirit of Belron Challenge, and significant DE&I events.
- Learning – We’re dedicated to building skills and capabilities to meet today’s business objectives while nurturing the talent of tomorrow, through implementing personalised, clear, and accessible development programmes.
- Business Partnering – We act as consultants on HR-related issues, advise on workforce planning and talent management, and help to drive organisational change initiatives.
Who we’re looking for
To be eligible for this role, you must have graduated, or expect to graduate with a Bachelor's degree in any subject area. You must also have the right to work in the UK for the duration of our programme.
You don’t have to have studied a particular degree to join us, but there are some specific qualities we look for in our candidates. You should be eager to take on challenges, enjoy working as a team to collaborate on finding solutions, and should have a passion for development and growth, constantly looking to learn new things and exploring new ideas. We also look for people who are aligned to our values: collaborative, driven, caring and genuine.
Some other key qualities we'd like to see include:
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
- Great written and verbal communication skills with people at all levels of seniority
- Being able to use both analytical and creative approaches to problem-solving. Strong numeracy skills would be an advantage.
