We are Arbtech. Our team of over 100 passionate professionals supports more than 8,000
projects each year, offering everything from ecology surveys to tree assessments and protected
species monitoring. Now, we’re expanding into exciting new territory with our fast-growing Geo-
Environmental service — and we’re looking for the second member of the team to help shape
its future.
Salary: £25,400-£29,000 (depending on experience) + benefits
Location: Remote, with occasional travel to sites across the UK
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent
The Role:

Key Responsibilities:
As a Graduate Geoenvironmental Consultant, you’ll support a variety of projects across the UK
and develop vital consultancy skills in both technical and commercial aspects of the role.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting desk-based geoenvironmental assessments – Carrying out detailed desk
studies for a wide range of sites, including analysis of environmental data, historical
mapping, and geological records.
- Undertaking site walkover surveys – Visiting sites to assess environmental risks, record
ground conditions, and gather field data to support your reports.
- Assisting in scoping and quoting – Working alongside senior consultants to scope out
client requirements and prepare quotes for geoenvironmental investigations.
- Report writing and data interpretation – Compiling high-quality, professional reports
with clear conclusions and actionable recommendations for clients.
- Project support and coordination – Supporting project delivery from start to finish,
liaising with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth project progression.
