We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. Duties

Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice processing and payment approvals.
Utilise accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or PeopleSoft to maintain accurate financial records.
Support month-end closing activities, including reconciliations and journal entries.
Collaborate with senior accountants to analyse financial data and identify trends.
Provide mentorship to interns or junior staff members as needed.
Maintain organised documentation for audits and compliance purposes.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities as required.

Requirements

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
Proficiency to know or learn accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or PeopleSoft.
Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices.
Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Previous experience in financial management or accounting roles is advantageous but not essential.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Pay: £28,000.00-£33,000.00 per year

Additional pay:
