About the Opportunity
This full-time, permanent Stores Operative role offers the chance to work within a close-knit team managing stocks of engineering parts, consumables, chemicals, and bulk goods. With a starting salary of £30,740.64, you’ll gain practical experience in supply chain operations, inventory systems, purchasing processes, and supplier engagement. There is also scope to deputise for the Stores Manager and receive forklift training, supporting your development in a dynamic industrial environment.
What We're Looking For
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to train for a Counterbalance Forklift license
- Ability to follow procurement/financial processes with integrity
- A collaborative mindset and ability to manage own workload
- Awareness of workplace safety in industrial environments

- Solid IT, literacy, and numeracy skills
- Previous stores or logistics experience (preferred but not essential)
