PRINCIPAL DUTIES & AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY Education and Training - Attend formal study sessions including those that take place away from the workplace - Undertaking self-directed learning - Complete all learning tasks and assignments - Apply skills and knowledge in the workplace Medical Equipment Management - Participate in a comprehensive system of radiotherapy technology support including installation work, the diagnosis, repair and resolution of complex problems, planned maintenance and medical equipment calibration, modification and upgrade. - Provide direct technical support including providing technical advice to users of radiotherapy technology. Quality Management - Fully participate in the ISO 9001 quality management system, complying with the associated policies and procedures, contributing to the maintenance of this system including proposing changes to documentation, procedures and processes. - Carry out risk management tasks including risk assessment and risk mitigation tasks.
- Accurately record all relevant information and ensures these records are maintained in accordance with the requirements of Trust policies and departmental procedures. Professional - Within their own area of competence, teach and train members of staff such as apprentices and other users of radiotherapy technology. - Carry out internal resource management tasks that will facilitate the effective running of RTS.
