With a diverse team operating in a newly refurbished office, over the last 5 years the company has transformed themselves into a company that can support clients throughout the full life cycle of their projects, from survey and design, through to engineering.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the design and development of railway infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Prepare technical drawings, models, and calculations using CAD software and other engineering tools.
Support feasibility studies, risk assessments, and site investigations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, electrical, and mechanical engineers.
Assist in preparing technical documentation, reports, and specifications.
Conduct research and analysis to support project requirements.
Ensure designs meet health, safety, and environmental requirements.
Attend site visits and liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders as required.

Key skills and requirements:

A degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, or Railway Engineering (or a related discipline).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in CAD software (MicroStation, AutoCAD or similar).
Basic knowledge of relevant railway standards and design principles.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning.
