What would I be doing?

Our excellent graduate programme and APC support aims to provide you with the best start and progression opportunities in your professional career to become a Chartered Surveyor. To support our on-going growth, we are looking to recruit a number of graduate surveyors to join our Infrastructure Division.

As our clients’ requirements evolve and grow (from natural gas to hydrogen; from conventional to renewable electricity generation; from regional water networks to national strategic resource options), so does our capability and our expertise.

We know that for most utilities and infrastructure companies, the interaction between them and the landowning communities has to be honest, equitable and sustainable. Your role is to help ensure this happens and learn from exceptionally talented colleagues alongside your training support to become a chartered surveyor.

What do I need to have to apply? We are more than happy to teach you all the technical skills you need, it is your personal attributes and commitment to the role that is key. Ideally, you will:

· Be a student from a Real Estate / RICS accredited degree (preferable)

· Have a passion and interest in the rural economy (preferable)

· Have excellent people and communication skills - both verbal and written;

· Have a positive, can-do attitude and be able to identify and solve problems;

· Have good attention to detail

· Adopt a consultative approach, able to identify and solve problems;

· Have the ability to work on multiple projects and tasks at any one time, working in a way that is highly agile and responsive to rapidly changing client and site requirements

· Be committed to continuing your professional development in order to become chartered with the RICS

· Have access to transport, or be willing to do so by the time you start work, as you will often be required to travel to out of town client sites;

· Enjoy going out and about in all weathers, travelling across the region or further afield and working outside of the normal 9-5 when required.

What’s in it for me?

Salary: £27,000 per annum for graduates with a property related degree accredited by the RICS. Plus full support towards becoming a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS).

We will consider non-cognate applicants, with a starting salary of £23,810, PLUS sponsorship for a relevant RICS accredited Masters level degree, and support towards becoming a Chartered Surveyor.
