Working as part of our Microbiology Division (MBD), within the Specialty Diagnostics Group, you’ll play an active part in helping us to achieve our mission. The Microbiology Division discovers microbiological solutions for the diagnosis of infectious disease and detection of bacterial contamination. We serve public health, clinical laboratories, food companies, environmental screening and pharmaceutical laboratories with a portfolio of products that include culture media, antimicrobial susceptibility testing solutions and market-leading molecular solutions for food safety testing.

How will you make an impact

As a Product Support Scientist, you are responsible for providing technical support for Immunological and Biochemical ID products within the MBD Dartford portfolio. Your role ensures the robustness, safety, and performance of these products. This will include carrying out investigations, on reagents manufactured at MBD Dartford and compilation of data for validation, stability or other technical reports, as directed by the Product Support Manager or Product Support Coordinators/Senior Scientist

Responsibilities

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

BSc in a Biological Science Discipline
Familiarity with the principle of immunoassays
To have excellent communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills
