Graduate Asset Integrity Engineer

Reporting to: Asset Integrity Manager
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
A great opportunity for a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join a specialist Asset Integrity team working across structural vibration, pipework assessment, and integrity monitoring. This role combines practical site work (onshore/offshore) with office-based analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Support vibration and pipework integrity assessments on client sites
Use CAD and FEA software (e.g. SolidWorks, ANSYS) for engineering analysis
Set up and use instrumentation for measuring vibration, strain, pressure, and temperature
Analyse data and produce clear technical reports and recommendations
Assist in the design, manufacture, and installation of pipework support solutions
Work on UK and international sites, including offshore trips (typically 1–2 weeks at a time)
Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
Understanding of vibration, fatigue, and dynamic behaviour of structures
Experience with 3D CAD and familiarity with FEA tools (particularly ANSYS)
Good problem-solving and reporting skills
Full UK driving licence and ability to travel
Desirable:
Offshore medical & survival training (or willingness to complete)
Knowledge of pipework vibration guidelines (e.g. Energy Institute)
Exposure to industries such as Oil & Gas, Chemical or Nuclear
