The Role:
As Professor in Extended Realities you will help to steer the next phase of the Centre for Creative and Immersive XR (CCI-XR) development, driving it towards becoming a truly world-leading centre for immersive technologies and Extended Reality (XR).
You will shape the strategic direction of the centre and enable it to push boundaries in immersive media, human-computer interaction, and virtual experiences.
You will have experience of securing external grant funding, publishing high-quality outputs and play a pivotal role in mentoring and developing the next generation of scholars. You will be instrumental in our next REF submission, helping to shape and drive the faculty’s research ambitions.
