You will be expected to:

- Work with Adult Social Care, Commissioning, and Safeguarding to strengthen due diligence.
- Investigate and respond to potential exploitation cases, including safeguarding victims.
- Coordinate multi-agency responses with partners such as the GLAA, Police, and the Home Office.
- Deliver training, gather intelligence, and contribute to shaping national policy on ethical recruitment.
Essential requirements for the role include:
- Strong understanding of modern slavery, safeguarding, and labour exploitation frameworks.
- Experience working with vulnerable individuals in community safety, social care, or related sectors.
- Ability to coordinate and influence multi-agency partnerships and statutory bodies.
- Skilled in data analysis, casework, and reporting to support interventions and policy development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with confidence delivering training and briefings.
This post is funded for 12 months through the ADASS International Recruitment Programme and builds on Sandwell’s nationally recognised modern slavery approach.
