About the Opportunity

This 6-week Fire Engineering Summer Internship (June/July 2025) offers hands-on experience with real-life projects across multiple UK locations. Interns will contribute to live client work, develop fire strategies, conduct technical analysis, and engage with interdisciplinary design teams. With access to site visits, leadership talks, social events, and mentorship, the internship provides a strong foundation for future graduate roles at Arup.

What We’re Looking For

Working towards a BEng/MEng with a predicted 2:2 or above in a relevant subject (e.g. Fire, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Structural Engineering)
Proficiency in Autodesk tools (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD) and Microsoft Office
Strong numerical, problem-solving, and teamworking skills
Organised, creative, and able to meet deadlines
Available to start in summer 2025
Curious mindset with a desire to contribute and grow within a collaborative environment
