What can I expect as a Trainee Solicitor?
A career in law is more than just becoming a solicitor; you’ll be part of a dynamic legal team, diving into the intricate world of legal practice. You will apply legal principles to real-life solutions for our clients, help them navigate complex legal landscapes, mitigate risks, and create value.
Throughout the two-and-a-half-year program, you'll engage in SQE preparation courses and examinations with BPP. Additionally, you'll gain hands-on experience (through your qualifying work experience) in various legal fields, fostering your professional growth and development.
You'll receive guidance from experts, benefit from a reliable support system of managers and peer colleagues, enjoy the flexibility needed to succeed, and have opportunities to network within the industry and with fellow aspiring legal professionals.
How will I make an impact?
Being part of the Legal team, you’ll collaborate with people right across the business and engage directly with our clients.
You’ll enhance your skills, knowledge, and capabilities, benefiting both our clients and your own professional development. You’ll be expected to uphold high standards, take initiative, be responsive, meet deadlines and communicate effectively to consistently exceed expectations.
As you approach the completion of your training programme, you will have developed a deeper understanding of legal practice. This will be reflected in the complexity of your client portfolio and your responsibilities, including the rewarding opportunity to mentor junior team members and guide them on their journey.
You’ll be training within a global professional services firm operating in over 130 jurisdictions where you’ll develop a broader range of commercial skills alongside your legal expertise, working with colleagues within our Consulting, Tax and Audit teams.
