We’re looking for Graduate Product Definition Analysts to join us in summer 2025.

Here are a few examples of the functional and technology challenges that you could be tackling as part of our R&D team at Heathrow
- Design, build and deploy new functional enhancements in our customer management application for the world’s top airlines.
- Helping the airlines by performing the functional troubleshooting for the identified functional issues.
- Interacting with project managers, as well as directly with customers (airlines and airport ground handlers) to present the solution and support them during their validation phase and to understand their daily operations.
As a graduate you’ll
Assess requirements
- Develop, maintain, and share in-depth functional knowledge of processes, services, and end-user product usage.
- Analyse and understand business requirements provided by Product Management to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Estimate solution design and specification efforts for product enhancements and solutions.
Functional design documentation
- Design a detailed solution from the requirement and high-level solution design that aligns with the vision of the product. Interact with the software development engineers of the team to understand the technical feasibility of the solution.
- Deliver clear, maintainable and understandable documents, including Feasibility Studies, Solution Overview Documents, Interface Control Documents, and Product Specifications.
- Conduct functional presentations and walk-throughs for key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless interaction and compatibility with other Amadeus applications.
Validation compliance
- Support the implementation of testing strategies and review test plans to ensure system integrity.
- Maintain traceability of tests with specifications to guarantee thorough validation.
- Investigate, prioritize, and verify reported incidents to uphold production integrity.
- Communicate with stakeholders on the steps taken to solve the issues by updating our internal defect tracking system with relevant details.
Create and innovate
- Analyse needs and requirements, from customer and internal sources, and propose functional/technical solution recommendations with supporting rationale as well as an estimate of the required effort
- Provide inputs to Product Management for product functionalities enhancement, business cases and RFP responses, based on their knowledge & product experience. May participate on demand to customer workshops.
- Contribute to innovation and product evolution within their functional area by sharing with peers & product managers information such as industry trends & standards etc.
- Show creativity and autonomy in finding solutions to non-trivial problems
Team participation and agile collaboration
- Work closely with Product Owners, Software Development Engineers, and Quality Assurance Engineers to create high quality products and enhancements
- Actively contribute to team ceremonies, including Agile forums, team meetings, and solution assessments.
- Collaborate with your fellow team members, to benefit from their knowledge and different backgrounds, and bring your own assets to the team
- Foster a collaborative environment to support and enhance cross-functional teamwork.
About the ideal candidate
- You’ll have completed or soon to complete a Bachelor/Master’s degree studies in Computer Science or related technical field or a degree from one of the other STEM topics (or have equivalent experience)
- You’re fluent in English
- Interest in IT and technology, with a bonus for airline interest.
- You possess strong analytical skills and have an interest in designing solutions to complex problems.
- Excellent communication skills
- Skilled in producing documents that are clear and concise.
- You’ll have the motivation to learn, solve problems, share your ideas, and develop your skills
