About the Opportunity
This 12-month fixed-term Multimedia Producer role is a chance to create high-impact, short-form video content across FT.com, YouTube, and social platforms. Working with cross-functional editorial and design teams, you'll craft visually engaging explainers that clarify global topics and engage younger audiences. You'll gain exposure to motion design, data storytelling, and editorial collaboration in a globally recognised newsroom. What We’re Looking For
- A strong portfolio of video production, editing, and motion graphics
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Ability to build clear visual narratives with strong editorial judgment
- Understanding of social-first video formats and trends
- Strong design, layout, and typography skills
- Bonus: experience with 3D tools (e.g., Blender), mapping tools (e.g., QGIS), or data visualisation
- Creative, proactive, collaborative mindset with an interest in global affairs and storytelling
