About the Opportunity
As an Engineer Troop Officer, you’ll lead diverse engineering tasks including demolitions, runway construction, mine clearance, and water supply setup. Following top-tier training at Sandhurst and the Troop Commanders’ Course, you’ll develop skills in military engineering, project management, and leadership. You can also pursue advanced military qualifications (Parachute, Commando, Diver Courses) and professional accreditations such as Chartered Engineer or HR Management certifications. Starting salary is £33,183, rising to £39,671 after training.
What We're Looking For
- Aged 17 years & 9 months to 28 years & 11 months
- Minimum 72 UCAS points and 35 ALIS points at GCSE (including English, Maths, and a science or language)
- Strong leadership potential and a desire to take on responsibility
- Physically fit (Mid Thigh Pull 76kg, Medicine Ball Throw 3.1m, Beep Test Level 8.07)
- Willing to work globally in challenging environments and adapt to diverse tasks
