About the Opportunity
As a Medical Support Officer, you’ll take command of multidisciplinary teams, plan medical logistics, and coordinate battlefield casualty care and evacuation. While not a clinical role, it’s vital to ensuring life-saving treatment reaches soldiers quickly and effectively. You’ll develop leadership, planning, and healthcare management skills, with access to strategic medical planning courses and higher education opportunities. Starting salary is £33,183, rising to £39,671 after training at Sandhurst.
What We're Looking For
- Aged 17 years & 9 months to 28 years & 11 months
- Minimum 72 UCAS points and 35 ALIS points at GCSE
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including English, Maths, and Science or a Foreign Language (minimum grade C/4)
- Physically fit (Mid Thigh Pull 76kg, Medicine Ball Throw 3.1m, Beep Test Level 8.07)
- Strong leadership, organisational, and decision-making skills
- Willingness to serve globally and manage high-pressure medical operations
