About the Opportunity
As an Engineering Officer, you'll lead highly trained technical soldiers, providing critical repair and recovery support in high-pressure environments. After officer training at Sandhurst, you'll complete a 15-week Military Systems Engineering Course to prepare for technical command roles. You'll have the chance to pursue Chartered Engineer status, MScs, and elite project management qualifications, all while working around the world and shaping the Army’s engineering capability.
What We're Looking For
- Aged 17 years & 9 months to 28 years & 11 months
- 72 UCAS points and 35 ALIS points at GCSE (including grade C/4 in English, Maths, and Science or Foreign Language)
- A degree in a technical field is preferred (engineering, maths, science, computer systems); non-graduates must study for an in-service technical degree
- Physically fit (Mid Thigh Pull 76kg, Medicine Ball Throw 3.1m, Beep Test Level 8.07)
- Strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a passion for engineering
