About the Opportunity
As a Royal Signals Officer, you’ll lead specialist troops responsible for the Army’s battlefield communication systems. You'll gain expertise in electronic warfare, network engineering, and cyber defence, while also developing your leadership and operational planning skills. Training includes the 44-week Commissioning Course at Sandhurst, followed by a 5-month Troop Commanders’ Course. Officers benefit from continuous development, including access to professional qualifications, MSc/MEng degrees, and chartered status in IT-related fields. Expect an exciting, dynamic career with global deployments and high responsibility from day one.
What We're Looking For
- Aged 17 years & 9 months to 28 years & 11 months
- 72 UCAS points and 35 ALIS points at GCSE (minimum grade C/4 in English, Maths, and Science or Foreign Language)
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Physically fit (Mid Thigh Pull 76kg, Medicine Ball Throw 3.1m, Beep Test Level 8.07)
