About the Opportunity
As an Artillery Officer, you’ll lead troops, manage advanced weapons systems, and play a vital role in locating, monitoring, and engaging enemy forces. After completing officer training at Sandhurst, you'll attend a specialist 14-week Young Officers’ Course focused on artillery tactics, equipment, and command. You'll gain leadership experience, travel the world, and have access to further qualifications in management and leadership through accredited bodies like the ILM, CMI, and City & Guilds.
What We're Looking For
- Aged 17 years & 9 months to 28 years & 11 months
- 72 UCAS points and 35 ALIS points at GCSE (minimum grade C/4 in English, Maths, and Science or Foreign Language)
- Strong leadership potential and decision-making skills
- Physically fit (Mid Thigh Pull 76kg, Medicine Ball Throw 3.1m, Beep Test Level 8.07)
- Desire to work in a dynamic, high-stakes combat environment
